This ceremony is celebrated annually and gives the House of Hope a chance to spread awareness about the prevention of child abuse to the community. Recognizing the signs of a child being abused is an important step in preventing it, and knowing what to do if abuse is suspected.
The ceremony is a perfect opportunity to educate the community, but also have a ton of fun doing it! Designed as a children’s event, there are activites such as balloon animals, face painting, characters running around like Bob the Builder or Baloo from Jungle Book. All attendees receive a free lunch as well.
